Lucet Cast-on Method
The Lucet cast-on method is creates a beautiful scalloped edge that matches. Use when want a decorative edge to your fabric such as with sweaters. Thank you, Isela Phelps, for taking the time to work this out for the community.
Tools needed
- Knitting board
- Crochet hook
This cast-on is worked from the right side of the loom to the left.
- Make a slip not and place it last peg on
the upper rake.
- Make a figure eight stitch with the peg
directory below on the lower rake.
- Repeat step 2 so that there are two wraps
on the last column of pegs.
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 for each column of
pegs moving one column to the left at a time.
- After all of the pegs have two wraps on them, knit off.
